The Homewrecker tells the modern myth of Helen of New York, a queer woman who returns to her hometown on the Connecticut shoreline after having fled ten years prior. Using the story of Helen of Troy’s return to Sparta after the Trojan War as a parallel, this play explores the line between homecoming and invasion, and what it means to be different in a place that celebrates normalcy.
